My knee's acting up ... again

I thought I will never experience that pain again ... it started as a slight throbbing pain in the knee on Monday - I must have knocked against something ... Rested at home on Christmas. It was feeling good yesterday. But it's unbearable now ... the level has not reached that of 2 yrs back but it just as bad ... hope it gets better tomorrow ... gotta keep the camera at home ... lighten the load.

What does Christmas Day mean to us?

Apart from the fact that today is a public holiday, it's also my sister's birthday! Ho ho..This is what this day means to me and my family...special & of birthday cakes and candles, not so much of Christ, turkeys and log cakes...

Look at what Ah Boy gave to his mum for X'mas and for her birthday this year:
A rainbow dog he calls it and colourful hand-written words of birthday wishes, probably his first birthday gift for her...

Gifts for myself...

Hehe it's the season of giving, can't help it...I bought these for myself while shopping for christmas presents! :D

Ha, it's BLACK whitening mask! It has gotten the Woman's Weekly Best Beauty Buy award for 2005 and 2006 consecutively... plus the shop assistant told me it's effective for my blackhead problem, how could I resist? It's really a steal at $35!

My Shisheido washing foam is almost used up, I thought I could give this a try...

Last Wedding Dinner of 2007

Yep, the next one is in Jan 2008. This one's at Orchard Parade Hotel. It's the most cramped I've ever been too and so warm ... I was like perspiring throughout. That said, the food was quite nice though and there's even a suckling pig per table (sorry, no pic)!

Christmas Party

What a feast again. Truly, there can never be a way to work off these calories gain in Nov and this month. Pork knuckles from Paulaner Brauhaus, honey-glazed pork ribs, honey-baked ham, sushi, log cake, chicken wings, sotong ball, fried beehoon ... there was so much left-over!





The most excited must be my nephew, who kept attacking the ebi sushi. Of course, he also had lots of presents.

The christmas cakes are getting better dressed each year. Doesn't this look so cute that you can't bear to cut it up?

On this day, we Chinese get together and eat 汤圆...

Tonight, we went DC's parent's house for dinner. It really felt like Chinese New year... the family reunion and the table full of delicacies... I had joy taking the sharks' fins soup, abalone and 汤圆! Then again, maybe I shouldn't have taken so much cos at night, I suffered... it's not the first time already... I had the same allergy in Bangkok and this CNY... Itching with rashes all over my body, I'm still trying to figure out whether it was sharks' fins or abalone that I'm allergic to. DC laughed at me: "Since you can't take good food, I'll have your share in future, Haha!" What? :(

Anyways, hope you all have fun making and eating 汤圆 today.

Gift Exchange

It's the time of the year where there are gift exchanges everywhere. So we got down to some last minute shopping. It's took me the about 3 min+ to wrapped up each. Hmmm ... still can be improved on eh ...



And on Monday, I'll be the appointed photographer for the company's Christmas party ... pressure ... hope photos turn up well ...

I saw Santa Claus this Christmas!

It's a toiletry set... That's Santa behind me without his beard... after the game, Santa lost his beard and requested us to search for it.. Ho..ho..ho.. :P
