How fast time flies, I still remember carrying him on my arms when he was born and now he is 3!
We held his birthday celebration 2 days ago and he enjoyed the train ride and slide that we rented for the party! :) He had lots of fun blowing his birthday candles too. However, he missed his fun at his school celebration as he fell sick on that very day!
As mentioned last month, he started to have a mind of his own and always wanted things his way. He shakes his head and bangs the table to show his displeasure. He says "NO" very often now too! He was closer to his daddy now and didn't want me to carry him anymore. I guess he understands that I have to carry his sister.
He's also more and more mischievous. He loves to play with my phone and created trouble by posting a non-sensical fb status and calling a contact on the phone whom I'm not very close to!
I started visiting the library and borrowed lots of books to him. I'm happy to know that he did not reject the books and got interested in some of them! :)
He's still very interested in cars. DC opened and assembled a Thomas the Train railway set that we kept away and he loves it! DC also brought him an highway car set. He loves it too. For his birthday, he got himself a number of car sets and they all made him jumped with joy!
We brought him to church and now, he is independent enough to attend the nursery class on his own! I'm so proud of him! That day at MBS, he learnt how to take picture using his daddy's Oly camera and had fun snapping pictures. :)
He's also very responsive now. When I talk to him or ask him questions, he could answer me quickly. He's still not speaking in sentences but his word base is definitely increasing. His favorite word of the month is "Marymount". This was evolved from "Mickey Mouse" and he later used this as "Marymount", haha. It sounds very cute when he says that!
Next month on National Day, we plan to bring him for yet another staycation and wanted to re-introduce him to the fireworks which his daddy and mummy love to watch! Looking forward to it!
