A is now super clingy to his daddy. He only wants him now, no one else!
It only takes DC 6 months to establish this bond. DC is the first person A will see when he wakes up, after which DC had to get A ready for school, fetch him to and from his grandparents' place, bathe him, gave him his night feed and finally, go to bed together. In the weekends, DC had to attend classes with A. Now you see why!
I was sad when A pushed me away and wanted only his daddy to carry him. Wasn't I the one he specifically asked for before these 6 months, before I went delivery and before his baby sister was born? When I wanted to carry him, he would tell me to carry his mei mei... I actually can't blame him for he was led into thinking that my job is to take care for his mei mei as he always see me carrying her and caring for her. And, he's always with his father...
While it is good that DC can help to take care of one, and I separately take care of the other, it also pose a potential problem. What would happen when DC is not around? I'm about to face such a situation soon! I'm quite fearful actually and didn't want to think about the separation anxiety. I think I'll just react according to situation when the day comes!
