A's birthday school celebration: What it turned out to be

We were all ready for A's birthday celebration in school today. I prepared these goodies packs for his friends in his class the night before:

The Theme is Thomas the Train! I wrote the names on the bags.

But, as fate has it, A coughed many times in the morning after he woke up and we had to bring him to the PD's. So the party was off! :(


The childcare centre was informed of the cancellation of the birthday celebration which will take place during tea break at 3pm. It was also during then that I got another piece of bad news - someone from his class has contracted HFMD!

Although the party was cancelled, after A's nap, we still brought him to the childcare centre to deliver the Thomas mini cakes we ordered from Polar Cakes to the kids. I got A to distribute the party pack to the kids and they loved it! :)


Here's us at the centre. DC and A wore the same clothes. :)


We left after the cakes and party packs were distributed. I was sorry that A lost a chance to blow his candles but then again, there's another chance to blow the candles at his actual party!
