B is 18 months old

This little girl has quite an advanced speech development at her age, I heard at least 3 comments this month about her, from care taker and some 2 enrichment teachers.

She could speak quite clearly and could imitate clearly too. Sometimes, even I was surprised at her speech development. She could even understand his brother's baby language that makes no sense to most people and used it appropriately!

She remains to be afraid of her brother. Sometimes I would use his name to prevent her from pushing away her milk bottle and quite drinking, haha...

Haze period we switched on the air-con for her and she enjoyed it but always asked me to switch on the fan together with the air-con! She also expressed very strong interest in wanting to sleep in her cot on her own (crying out loud "Mei Mei Oi Oi Le...") and not be carried and rocked to sleep. I tried not to let her have her way as, that would take forever for her to be asleep! It's quite difficult to get her to sleep early nowadays. Her bedtime has shifted to 10.30pm and sometimes, 11pm!

Last week, she changed her poop time from mid day to morning. Every morning I had to change her diaper before we go off to work. The baby sitter told me that she pooped 3-5 times in a day that week. We both suspected that she was teething. :)

I brought a crayon and marker set and she loved grabbing the crayons and drawing with markers! Her first art was not too bad actually!

B was an active toddler and loves to climb up and down - the beds, chairs, TV console, tables! She says "Hi" and "Bye" to people in the lift, however would be shy when people wanted to carry her. Her most heard words at home is "No and/or Don't want".

This month, we brought her to her cousin's 1st year birthday celebration. She was quite shy with people  that she was unfamiliar with but she did enjoy herself and the fries there. She also went to Sentosa many many times this month, the latest one was to one degree 15, the earlier one was to the SEA aquarium. :) We are planning to bring the kids back very soon!

A is 3 years and 11 months old

June... one of the best months for school children. Although A doesn't have school holidays in his childcare centre, we did, like all other school kid's parents, splurged on toys for them this month! I went Toys "R" us to get him more cars, a toy trolley and kitchen set. He requested for 3 more cars while we were shopping in the nearby mall last week. We got him new clothes, new shoes and brought him to places. That kept him really occupied the whole Jun. :)

He discovered another nice video series on YouTube on a blue bus and kept playing and watching it on his iPad lately. By now, he is so familiar with YouTube that he navigates freely searching for related videos he likes, usually on cars and bus!

We started sending him to weekend classes after a very long break. He was still very active during class like he was when he was younger although we hope he could be more still and focus more! His reward after his class was 5 rounds of car rides in the nearby mall with his sister! Haha, it quite surprised us that he enjoyed the rides so much that he asked for more! When he was younger, he refused to even get near them, let alone sit on them! My son has really grown up!

He has grown quite naughty too. He didn't want to do the things I instructed him to do and insisted in his way. In the car many times lately, he would say to me, "Mummy, stop it" when I was just starting my conversation with him. Haha, of course that were also many times when he requested to talk to me too e.g. asking me for bread in the morning, telling me directions to home, requesting for cheese, etc.

One of the days last week, when we brought B to the grandparent's place to fetch A, we told A that his sister will stay overnight at the grandparent's place, A refused profusely and insisted that she go back with us! I'm quite happy that he feels that his sister belongs to him and his home. :)

This month, we brought him to his cousin's 1st year birthday celebration where he gobbled down a lot of fries. He also went to Sentosa many many times, the latest one was to one degree 15, the earlier one was to the SEA aquarium. :) We were waiting to bring him up on the cable car but the haze sorta spoil the plan.

A is going to be 4 years old next month! How fast! Though we have decided not to have any extravagant party this year, we are thinking of having a mini celebration for him. After all, birthdays are special days and only happen once a year! :)
