Wedding Anniversary

It was our wedding anniversary today and we totally forgot about it! Totally!

DC was resting at home trying to heal his swollen knee. Somehow, DC decided to meet me for lunch, somehow we chose a fine dining restaurant that we always wanted to try and somehow, DC suddenly remembered that today's our wedding anniversary in the middle of the course!

Thanks God! Otherwise we will be thinking that it was just a normal weekday and regretting that we didn't remember it at all! :)

I like the restaurant decor and the cutlery they used. Different from the usual; there's a fish tank and a rock with knife on it on every table!

There were 2 types of menu to choose from - either French or Japanese.

CNY 2014

This year's CNY Day 1's itinerary was somewhat like last year's. We had great first meal at parent-in-laws', lunch at DC uncle's, desserts at CP's uncle's and dinner at DC aunt's!

A family picture of us in father-son and mother-daughter outfits :)
Was pleasantly surprised that A actually knew the way to all the homes and could point the direction to Sentosa on one of the journeys to one of the aunties' home! :)

While that was pleasant, something unpleasant also happened. When we were at DC's uncle's carpark, B walked to DC's car and broke DC's rear wiper in just an instant which was too fast for me to react! Oops!

On CNY Day 2, we needn't rush from one home to another. Just 4th uncle's home in the morning, park strolling (or rather, running) in the evening, A's favorite "M", and then home for home cooked food.

On CNY Day 3, we went to B's nanny's home for a visit. Then we went to my parents' place for a steamboat lunch - my relatives were there too. Thought it was too late to go back for nap, so we let the kids napped in my parent's place but B wasn't in the mood to nap. After A's nap, we went back to feed them milk and went to DC's aunt's place for visiting.

The kids had fun at every house they went to and every activities that they took part in. I was glad that they:
1. auto gave DC and me every ang pows that they received
2. greeted "Gong Xi Fa Cai" and "Xin Nian Kuai Le" when asked to
3. ate well at the relatives' homes
4. did have their naps (except for Day 3 where B couldn't sleep at my parent's)
5. actually amicably held hands (although for a very brief moment) when asked and I had the chance to capture that moment! :)

One surprising thing though for this CNY and that is, we hadn't have any Lo Hei! It's just strange that no one prepared any for reunion dinners and the first 3 days of CNY! Hope to have more in the next few days... :)
