A phone conversation between a husband and wife at the expo. Husband was choosing a TV for his home, Wife was at work.

Husband: There's a LCD TV model that seems impressive...I feel like getting it.
Wife: Tell me the model no.
Husband told wife the model no. and wife did a search on the product in the Internet.
Husband called in shortly.
Husband: What do you think of it?
Wife: Seems not bad, are there others?
Husband wasn't listening...something caught his eyes. After a while...
Husband: I just saw the LG models, they look fabulous!
Wife: Really? Show me!
Husband: Show you? Well, ok. I'll take a picture and send it to your mobile.
Husband sent the picture to wife.
Wife: *Faint*
Here's what he sent her:

It's Charlie's brithday today

It's Charlie's birthday today!

The angels treated him to a Jack's Place set lunch and we got him a yummy chocolate cake from Breadtalk.

He brings his camera to office today (he loves to take pictures very much) ... and, we took a lot of pictures! Here are some of them:

A Real X'mas Tree in Office

Here's a photo we took today at the office. Just look at the x'mas tree. This is the best decorated tree that I've seen... and it is real tree!

1 month to Christmas!

Yahoo! X'mas is approaching in 1 mth's time!

Most of the shops have already had their x'mas tree displayed. I saw some nice and unusual festive trees when I was out for facial today. Can't help taking pictures of the x'mas decorations. Hmmm... Maybe I will collect more of them and post the pictures in the blogs to come?

Today, my sisters and parents gathered at my house. They have a mission which is to help me set up my x'mas tree and decorate it. Ah boy was there to help out as well and he did a great job!

Tata...Here's the result of our work.

Matahari Spa

We came by a body massage which was quite unique and decided to give it a try. The whole process was done with only a hand held machine, not with hands. The machine is said to aid the astronauts to relieve tension and improve blood circulation during their long journey to space. Sounds amazing?

The body massage turned out to be very different from what we thought it would be. The whole process was not enjoyable at all. The pricking sensation was untolerable at times, so occassionally you would hear either of us shout "Lower the strength please" or "Please up the strength". At the end of the 45-minute treatment, we felt relieved that it was finally over. I really don't know whether this machine is effective or not, maybe it does make a difference beneath the skin, but on the surface, I don't see or feel any difference after the treatment. In fact, DC's aches came back to him on the next day! How could the astronauts stand this treatment I wonder?

This is our first time to the Matahari Spa, location is very convenient as it is somewhere in Orchard. The couple room was very cozy and nicely decorated with a jacuzzi at a corner. We like the ambience of this couple room best as compared to the other spas that we've been to. The consultant is very professional and seems to be talking total sense when she touched on the topic of facial. Can you believe it? Despite the painful experience we just had, we signed up for a $300 package! I know it sounds absurd to believe the consultant's words without trying out other treatments...but it's too late for regrets now! Anyway, it's only $300 and we could use it on a range of treatments offered at the outlet. Be rest assured that we definitely won't be opting for the same treatment ever again. The credits are most likely to be used on facial and spas. Hopefully their facial and spas are as good as they claim!

Choosing a X'mas Tree

It wasn't easy at all, choosing a x'mas tree. I wanted to get one last year but too bad, our house was not done up yet. So, I am determined to get one this year.

We went places to search for the tree...Paragon, then Carrefour at Plaza Sing and Suntec City. We finally got one at Carrefour Suntec. It was a 200cm tall tree. Feeling satisfied, we went back to fix the tree... but alas! when the base was formed, we found the tree extremely big and not fitting at all! What can we do? We dismantled the base and brought it back. Luckily Carrefour had refund policy and we got the refund. :)

We chose a smaller tree this time... 150 cm. I hope we make the right choice this time because we definitely don't want to go back again for exchange!

Birthday at Lawry's

A treat at Lawry's Prime Ribs for my birthday! She had lobster while I had roasted beef ... I think I prefer the huge chunk of sizzled beef at Morton's of Chicago though.
