A is 3 years and 5 months old

I find a slight change in A this month, in a positive way. He seems more sensible now and talks more now...

He learnt to reach for the door knob and mastered the skill of opening and closing doors! It only take me one minute to show him and he picked it up right away! :) He now opens and closes the door as and when he is pleased. It can be quite disturbing at times (e.g. when B is sleeping) but seeing him feeling so satisfied at every door opened makes me want to laugh! :)

He is a fierce brother but he does do his part to discipline his sister when she gets naughty! Ha, it's funny to see them yelling at each other and fighting for toys.

DC decided to put A's car seat in front, next to him so that there are more space behind for B's new car seat. This makes A very happy, he loves sitting in front with his daddy and kept saying "In front!" when he remembers! :)

He also likes to imitate or follow his daddy e.g. wear the same colored Polo shirt, wear similar shoes, wear zipped shorts like daddy and even go toilet together. This is more so lately, after the car seat is placed in front! He must have like his daddy lots and treat him as his role model! :) A has his car keys and wallet and would always imitate his daddy and says he wants to go "Buy Mumm Mumm" with his money! He even give our maid coins to go down to buy dinner, haha!

He can now use iPhone to make call and would mumble into the phone and pretend that he was talking to someone on the line. I love to see him pretending, it sure look like he picked up the way we (adults) behave/speak when we were on the phone!

He started coughing on Sat 22 Dec and it pains me to see him vomit his food out a few times while coughing! :(

It's the end of the year 2012, we celebrated B's 1st birthday on the 16th, christmas and his Yiyi's birthday on X'mas day and his twin cousin's 4th birthday last weekend. How fun! We gave him a remote mini cooper for christmas and he loves it!

At school, A is now in transition to N2 next year, how fast! My boy is definitely growing up fast! :)

A timely blog header change

Yes, it's been too long and B is 1 year old!

Recently we've been to a photo studio for family shoot. What's more appropriate time to change a new header than now? So, here it is, a simple one... and it's the same as the cover picture on my fb! :)

See the full list of blog headers we've had these years here.

A Joke Came True

Amazing! DC and I was at a unit about two weeks ago which an Australian couple is currently staying. I knew A's classmate was staying around the area and jokingly told DC that could be A's classmate's place!

Today, when I was looking at the pictures of the unit that were online, a paper on the fridge caught my eye... when I zoomed in, I was shocked to see A's classmate's name on it!

The  joke came true! It was so unbelievable!

A will be sad to hear that his good friend leaving, the one whom he happily says goodbye to when he goes home and the one who wears the same "Pony" clothes as him!

B's first birthday celebration

B's birthday celebration was prepared in a record time. It was meant to be kept short, sweet and simple. :)

The Theme: Hello Kitty
This wasn't the theme we wanted from the very beginning. It was supposed to be Miffy but we were not able to get the cake and goodies in time as we were really very busy. :(

So, we decided to replace to an easier Hello Kitty theme. HK is also one of my favorite characters! And, DC thought that B looks like HK!

The Venue: Home
I wanted to try the CC near our place. We were always unable to book the venue there, so this year I called in earlier. However, this time they told me they will be undergoing renovation this period!

We figured out that the venue would be a challenge as it's the christmas season, so we decided to hold it at home. Afterall, A had his first birthday celebration at home too, so same for B.

The Food: Neo Garden
The usual choice. :) The food didn't disappoint. It was good!

The Invitation:
Invitation was by call (elders) and fb (cousins). We didn't invite my mum's side of relatives as they are still mourning for my grandma.

The Party Favors:
There were too many HK stuffs around but we chose to buy gummy bears instead for the kids! :) It's an all time favorite, even for the adults. The portion was huge. I did a tag and pasted it onto the bag and got A to distribute them out. :) A just love to help out!

The Decoration:
We ordered a HK bouquet and 30 pink/fushia/white helium balloons and decorated them around the house. I also bought a HK banner (10in) but it was too big. DC had to break it into 3 parts before hanging it up.

The Entertainment:
We are a house full of toys, especially for the boys! I'm glad the kids were happy playing with the toys, e.g. cars, carparks, highways and battery operated cars.  :)

The Birthday Cake:
Again, we opted for a Polar cake. I bought a HK cake topper and a nice number "1" candle to decorate the cake. Sweet!

B was napping before I woke her up to cut the cake! It must have been a shock to her to see so many people crowding around her but she seems to have enjoyed blowing candle and hearing people sing song to her.

The Look:
A pink princessy dress with 1 matching pink hair pin and 2 HK pins. We also put on her newly bought shoes - a must for 1st birthdays. Pretty! :)

The Presents:
All the presents were placed at the foot of our christmas tree. They will be opened on Christmas day. :)

We did open up one, as requested by the baby sitter - And, B got herself one amazing set of: HK red packet, handmade HK card, HK towel, HK blouse, HK socks and even HK shoes! What a coincidence! They too think that B looks like Hello Kitty! :)

B's 1st birthday preparation update

We were very very busy for the past month! B's birthday celebration was put on hold for quite a while before we picked up from where we left off last week! *Oops*

We've changed the theme of the party as the original was just too difficult and we've got not much time on hand.

Tomorrow's the day, I'm happy that all that needed preparation was done! :) As usual, sis settles the cake, DC the buffet and me the birthday suit, decorations and favor packs. We've also settled her first pair of shoes -- a must for 1st birthday!

Just now, I showed B how to blow candles. She laughed happily at me, then she imitate me after her hearty laugh. So cute! I hope she remembers how to blow her candle tomorrow! :)

[Edited on 16 Dec 2012: B had a nightmare at midnight and woke A up. A couldn't sleep and only finally slept at 2am! Tired parents we were! FIL told us next time don't let the kids know, if not, they would get excited and sleepless. Oops, that's exactly what I did... I told them about the party! :P]

Nerd Look for us?

Yesterday, DC brought me to a spectacle shop at a shopping mall near our place and I spent sometime looking at the thick black-framed glasses, while he looked at the sunglasses.

I took some photos there.

Today, we went photo studio to select photos and I remembered one of A's photos had this nerdy specs on him. :)

Some months back, B's baby sitter sent me this photo they took of B:

I love how we look in nerdy specs!

What about daddy? Hmm, he's nerdy enough without the specs, haha.... just kidding. He's already wearing his every day! :)

B is 11 months old

B seems to understand a lot things now! :)

She had 3 teeth now, 2 on top and 1 below. She looks so cute when she smile with one tooth below. But, I can't seem to capture a good photo of her little tooth (at bottom, center right)! She loves to bite on things, esp cold teethers.

We started giving her 2-3 meals a day now. She eats porridge with fish and veg.

This month, I spent some time with her as her nanny went on holiday trip to HK/Macau. She's so active! She's smiley too but will get into a fiery rage if you don't go according to what she wanted or if you take away what she was holding! I realised that she bites her fist if she gets angry.

Her separation anxiety seems to rise. She refused anybody to carry her except for me, DC and her nanny. I brought her to DC's office one of the days when the nanny was not around and she wouldn't let anybody else carry her!

She is still not walking yet. She stands and cruises. She did try a few steps but didn't seem to want to attempt again after then.

I started her on frozen ebm and she had no problem with them. She's still on ebm in the day time and powder at night.

It's rainy season now and she was scared of the sounds of loud thunders. She's scared of the drilling sounds too. Just the mention of "Dril drill" or "thunder!", she'll cringe onto you and stay still. I made use of these 2 to coax her to sleep now! :P

Brought her to collect her passport. Look forward to bringing her to her first holiday trip overseas!

We went for her photoshoot at the usual studio and had a nice time there. She was crying during the photo shoot but we managed to pacify her with food and instructions. She even had some shots with her brother A!

She also had her vaccination this month. As usual, she cried out loud. This time, the vaccination didn't affect her. :)

This month, her great grandmother (my maternal grandmother) passed away and we brought her and brother, A to the wake one of the days. It was her first time to a wake.

It would be her birthday soon but mummy is so busy with work that she had to put aside the preparation work! :( Time to pick up from where I left off and get really busy busy!

Skyfall 007

Skyfall 007

CAST: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Rory Kinear with Albert Finney Judi Dench as "M"
DIRECTOR: Sam Mendes
LANGUAGE: English
OPENING: 01 Nov 2012
RUNTIME: 143 mins
RATING: PG - Some Violence

Daniel Craig is back as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

========================================================================
This was a different James Bond movie. There was no sophisticated technology or weapon used,  no love interest and a sad ending. Of course, there was the usual villain and the bad guy eventually died in his hands. I felt that the story was a little too draggy towards the end and it could have been shortened. However, there were many fighting and explosive scenes still worth the watch. After all, it's Bond's 50th year this year, wow!

She calls!

I went into the room after my shower and heard DC talking on the phone...

He said the ex-maid called!

The ex-maid asked if she could come visit us during her off day!!

When DC asked how was her mother, she said she was ok!!!

She told DC that she was now working in AMK, the next-door neighborhood!!!!

That was different from what she told my maid. According to what she told my maid, she should be working at the end of the street. That could only mean one thing... she changed her employer again and she was back in the same vicinity again!!!!!

Both DC and I wonder why she was always deployed to places so near us?

While we did not stop her from visiting us, now that she has a handphone (which she used to call us) and off day, both of which our maid doesn't have, we were worried that it's a matter of time our current maid would get influence by her and ask requesting for these or even follow her footstep to quit and come back for a higher pay and benefits!!!!!!

A is 3 years and 4 months old

He is as usual the stern brother to his baby sister. He would stare at her with the disapproving look when she misbehaved e.g. shout. Sometimes he would take things into his hands and started punishing her e.g. beating her with his "cane" (xylophone stick). Sometimes he would just tell her to go "Aunty's place" (Nanny's home). It always made me laugh to see him act like this! Haha...

A is more chatty now. I'm hearing him call me Mommy for the first time, in fact! He usually calls me "Nini" and DC "Baba" but lately, he started calling "Mommy" and "Daddy". I was esp surprised when he called me "Mommy" in front of his teachers when I went to fetch him one day!

He is also getting more mischievous. His teacher called me from his childcare centre twice to inform that he was bitten by a new french boy in class! It was actually 3 times and A also bit him! One of the incidents was that A told the french boy to go back to class (they were having outdoor activity), when he didn't move, A tried to pull him along and he bit A!!! Some of the bites remain for a few days and it pained my heart to see him being bitten! :( Of course, I feedback to the centre! They transferred him to another class and I was happy not to hear another such incident again!

This month, his great grandmother (my maternal grandmother) passed away and we brought him and B to the wake one of the days. It was his first time to a wake. This little boy wanted to join me in the ritual but fortunately my in-laws came along and helped to take care of the little ones.

He went to a play "Mr Fantastic Fox", a school outing. I wonder if he like it?

We decided to bring the children to HK next year and so made passports for them. We bought A to collect his passport on 6 Nov, B collected hers on another day. Always happy to spend time alone with him! :)

It's his daddy's birthday month. We decided to bring him to the zoo. I think he enjoyed his day there, DC and I plan to bring him to the zoo more often!

We also brought him to take family photo shoot at the usual studio, although B was the focus, A did very well posing at the camera with his signature smile! :) I'm sure the photos would turn out well!

Till we meet the old maid again!

Our maid told us that she saw our ex-maid this morning, right at our neighborhood market! It was the old maid that called our maid and she told our maid that she is now working with another employer since 2 months ago...

This was something quite unlikely to happen esp when she told us that she was going back to her country to take care of her ill mother and young children! If she's back 2 months ago (Sep) and left in Jun, it must have taken her almost immediately to make the arrangement to come back to Singapore (assuming 3 months for the procedures and selection)!

It was quite naive of us to have believed her words. To think that on her last day before she left, I spent some effort trying to complete her set of Singapore coins that she wanted to give her son as present!

Frankly, I was quite angry to be deceived by her. Of all things, why use her mother as an excuse to go back?

But then, I think she is in a worst state now! It must have been quite a nightmare for her to realize that she is back in the same neighborhood as us!

Would she worry that she would bump into us one day (which is very likely cos there's only 1 neighborhood market around)?

It would be very interesting if this happens! I wonder how she'll respond if I asked about her mother?

Question: Out of curiosity, how do I know which employer the ex-maid or any maid is with? Can this info be found in MOM website?

Now I know who you are!

The mystery bird's identity is known!

The bird which got both DC and I intrigued by the sound it made years back...

The bird which was heard almost everywhere, even Orchard road...

The bird that woke B up with its piercing sound at 5am every morning...

The bird which I grow to hate because it deprived me of so much sleep as I had to wake up to attend to B every 5am!

That bird... is called the Asia Koel!

Lately, I've been asking around for the name of this bird from colleagues, baby sitter, etc. DC found the answer from last Saturday's Straits Times! :) What a coincidence!

More info can be found in wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_Koel

Find my iPhone

I kept dropping my phone nowadays!

Last week, I thought I dropped my phone in the market. Fortunately I found it on the car seat!

Today, when we went to collect A's passport, I dropped it again! Again, I found it on the side of the car!

DC installed an app on my iPhone. It was called "Find my iPhone" or something like that. It helps the owner locate their lost phone and can track  I like that! This app is definitely for me! :P

A Sudden Sad News

I received a message this morning from sis informing all that our beloved granny has passed away in the morning. It came as a real surprise to us, we didn't know she was unwell!

Heard that she called out all of her children and grandchildren's name, including mine and my aunt phoned all to come to her deathbed. She washed up and changed into new clothes, as if she knew she was leaving.

It's saddened me to see another relative gone. DC and I were thinking of paying her  a visit with our children some time back but it didn't materialize. :( Mum must have been sadder than me! She couldn't see her mum's last look.

Anyway, come to think of it. She died a good ripe age and she had lots of grandchildren, she even has great grandchildren (mine, sis and cousin's)! I think she would have no regrets in her life!

RIP my beloved grandmother!

B is 10 months old

B is an active baby! She's always jumping up and down on her cot. Even when she's being carried, she'll move her legs about or lunge at things that caught her interest! It's really difficult to change her diapers or clothes as she's always moving about! She could stand up on her own without support for about 2 seconds before falling down. She could actually stand up and cruise very well with wall, cot, chair, table as her support! :)

New developments: she could wave at instructions now. She would stretch out her right hand and move only her wrist and fingers to indicate that she wants to go there or to wave bye bye, so cute!

She could also clap now, with only her right hand moving and closing up on her left. :)

She could also identify "风扇" when I said it. She'll look up into the direction of the ceiling fan. She also loves to pull the string hanging out of the fan! :)

She could also identify a hand puppet consistently. I called it PetPet. She seems to be pronouncing "Tat Tat"  every time she sees it. Without fail, she'll pass it to me when she got her hands on it.

She could also repeat "Baba...", "Mum mum", "Dadada.." when she heard it.

She also has her first tooth cut earlier this month. It was her top right front tooth. I guess that's why she's always putting her fingers in her mouth this month. It must be very... itchy?... painful? for her. She's also salivating a lot now. Her second tooth is coming out soon, can see some whites beside the first tooth. :)

She is sleeping through at night now, I think it's because the weather has turned cool. She's not sweating as much this month. :)

She had her 6-in-1 vaccination while she had her runny nose. After a week, her fever came. I wonder if the fever was contributed by the jab or weather? Hmm...

Food wise, we've changed a new milk teat for her and it took her a while to get used to it. She used to like to eat puffs but now, she sometimes rejected them, pushing them out of her tongue and no matter how many times you pushed it into her, she'll roll it out from her tongue! This month, I've also introduced her to baked pumpkin and boiled potato. She didn't like them and made them out of her mouth! I also tried to give A's porridge which is more solid. Instead, she finished them up! This lady prefers solid stuff to puree!

We brought B to Gardens by the Bay twice and was thinking of bringing her to the Disneyland next month. But, we decided that next year might be better for her. Nevertheless, we decided to make a passport for her and had a difficult time taking passport photos of the kids!

B will be turning one very soon (OMG, how time flies!) and I'm planning her birthday party now...  :)

A is 3 years and 3 months old

A is getting very disobedient. He beats, pinches his sister and disobeys instructions at home and in his childcare centre. In fact, he got bitten last week by a classmate because A was naughty towards him! He also had his first scratched knee when he fell down during outdoor activity.

The weather was bad. A moment too hot and next too cold. The whole family had cold, A had runny nose which fortunately he recovered quite swiftly from.

This month, we celebrated mid-autumn festival with aunties and uncles, he loved to eat moon cakes! We brought him to Gardens by the Bay twice and his school brought him there last week. That makes him go there thrice! :) He loved the skywalk and garden walk very much.

We also brought him to his cousin's 5th birthday celebration. It's a star wars theme!

It's children's day this month, so I chose a present each for both A and B. A loves the toy house a lot and kept playing with it. He called it "Ding Dong" because of the door bell that he loves to press!

A loves to call out colors of vehicles around him and he especially likes to spot red cars on the road now because his uncle (my brother) has a red car. He'll say "Ah Gu Car Car" when he saw one that resembles my brother's car. Recently, he could even recognize "Ah Gu Car Car" in different colors! :)

A loves to eat snacks and sweets. I had some M&Ms and Skittles and he likes to name the colors of the choc or candy he eats. Once, when I tried to pop some bread with cheese into A's mouth, he pointed to his mouth to indicate that it's already full. I waited for a while and saw no sign of him wanting to swallow that piece of bread in his mouth. So, I took out a Skittle and asked if he wanted. At first he thought it was bread and wanted to point to his mouth again. Then, his eyes lit up when he saw what it actually was! He smiled and immediately opened his mouth and reach for it! Haha, that's my cheeky boy! He made me laugh out loud that morning! :)

B's vaccination

We brought B to her vaccination today. It took us a while to see the doctor. DC was unhappy about the queue system. Why did we have to wait if we have booked an appointment? And, we had a baby with us and they should not let babies wait! However, we didn't have the chance to voice this out to the doctor.

B had her assessment done and she was developing very well. :) She's 75cm long, 10kg and head circumference is 44.5cm. She could babble, transfer objects to another hand, crawl and clap. :)

However, B hated being put down on her back for examination and on the weighing scale. She cried, so loudly that the nurses, patients outside could hear!

Doc felt that since her runny nose was better today, she could get herself vaccinated. We agreed. B cried out loud when the 6-in-1 jab went in her left thigh and it took her a while to recover from it. :P

We took her shortly to her nanny's and I was told that she slept for 3 hours straight!

Doc advised us to try for another child. "I think you both should have another child", she said. To give A another companion (brother?)? Hmm...

Bitten Thumb and Scratched Knee

I received a call from A's childcare teacher today. The teacher informed that A was bitten by his new French classmate when he hit him. Haha, now A's right thumb has two teeth marks.

Also, A wore new shoes and he fell down during his outdoor activity. Now, he had scratches on his left knee.

When we saw A at his grandparents, he looked ok and could even show me the teeth marks and acted sad with furrowed brows. Today was not A's day but I'm glad that this has not affected him. He's still the same smiley him. :)

Taking passport photos for our kids

Taking passport photos for our kids is difficult. In fact, DC almost gave up during the first session!

Haha, we have active kids who love to fidget about. :P

All the photos taken in the first session didn't make it as there were no proper lighting.

The second time, DC brought out his lighting stuff from the storeroom and set them up. The photos were much brighter, clearer and sharper but still, our kids, esp A didn't like to look at the camera!

It was a challenge and DC was full of sweat before we finally got a nice shot of A!

When it was time to upload the photos, we didn't have a hard time with the selection as there were not many good ones that met requirements. Either they were not looking at the camera or the head was tilted or the face was not within the guidelines!

Our Boy

Our Girl

If not for the trip that was decided last minute, I guess we would not have made the passport for them! Hehe... we've uploaded the photos, we hope they were accepted! Can't wait to travel with the kids!

[Edited on 24 Oct 2012: Trip was cancelled. Mum and FIL felt that B was too young to travel. So we decided to do it next year during the school holidays, so that all of us could go together! :) Can't wait!]

It's amazing how time flies! My B is 2 months away from her first birthday! It's high time to start preparations!

We've so far settle the location (will be at our place), the theme (hehe, secret) and date.

I've roped in my sisters to help out and had some ideas on the entertainment. Some DIYs again, hope I've the time and energy to do them all!

Bad weather

Weather's bad these few days. It's either very hot and sunny or freezing and rainy!

A was the first. On Monday, he was found to be having runny nose while at the grandparent's place.

Then followed by B. On Tuesday, she started coughing. We felt that she was genuinely coughing and not like what her nanny had claimed - that she imitated and pretended to be coughing.

Yesterday, DC contracted flu and today he was on sick leave in the afternoon!

As usual, I'm still the last one standing! :)

[20 Oct 2012: Today was a rainy day and, all of us are down with flu! DC, A and B were having runny nose and I had sore throat!]

Gardens By The Bay

We went back to the Gardens By the Bay, this time with my parents and sis.

We explored the places we didn't manage to go to last week. We went to the OCBC Skyway, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. The admissions were paid for or subsidized by the company. :)

The OCBC Skyway was very high and my sis and I actually had the frights walking on it! Sis gave up after the group photo was taken and she went down to wait for us.

We had a nice family photo there too.

Love this pict that DC took of the skyway:

Next we went to the Flower Dome. We love this indoor air-conditioned garden! There were many nice flowers and it was very cooling place to rest our feet after the exposing ourselves to the hot sun outside!

A and B with me against the landscape design. A saw me squatting and imitated me.

Finally, the Cloud Forest!

We had a shock when we first stepped into the place! It was freezing cold at the foot of the waterfall!

We didn't quite like it there compared to the flower dome as it was too damp and cold inside. We left after we spiralled round the cloud forest.

I wasn't too impressed with the Restaurant Week menu. The poached octopus salad in Sardinian style wasn't very good. The octopus lack a springy bite , maybe it was over-cooked or octopus should be eaten sashimi-style? Whatever it was, CP and I didn't really like it.

The stewed lamb shoulder, although very soft and tender, is too common a dish to be served at a restaurant such as Garibaldi. I could have an equally good lamb stew at Secret Recipe.

The Saffron homemade pappardelle with crayfish n broccoli was good, although my dining partner didn't like the springy feel of the pasta.

A common observation was that the dishes were too salty. It seemed that Italian cooking tends to sprinkle generous amount of salt on their dishes, something we have observed at Forlino too.

Dessert was warm apple pie with cinnamon gelato. Saving grace of the meal but I had expected something more Italian like maybe cannoli.

The counter receptionist was wearing slippers ... not very fitting to their uniform ... Restaurant ambience was good. They had revamped the decor since I last dined there eons ago and I liked it better this time.

In all, I guess we won't be returning any time soon. Gunther's at just next door will be still our No. 1 choice!

Hot hot B

On Monday, B refused to be put down and could not sleep well at night. She felt very hot but her body temperature when measured, was normal.

On Tuesday morning, it was still normal. Then, when I went to pick her up at the nanny's, I was told that her temperature rose up to 38.5! It further rose to 38.7ºC at home. We wasted no time in feeding her the pink medicine and patched her forehead. I also wiped her body to cool it down while she lay on me. Same as Monday, she refused to be put down. So, I brought her to my room and she was willing to sleep on my bed.

Today, her fever came down after she sweated during her sleep, thank God that she's well again! :)

We didn't know why she suddenly had fever. When we recalled, we weren't sure if it's because she had a bad fright from Fri (Chalet), Sat (Family at Gardens by the Bay) or Sun (Cousin's birthday party) or was it because of the terrible heat in the outdoors during the weekend or was it because she was teething? Hmm...

Anniversary (Dating) Lunch

It was our dating anniversary, something worth celebrating because we had known each other for 14 yrs. This week was also Restaurant Week, so I made an early booking for a nice lunch at iL Lido, Sentosa :)

Location-wise wasn't very convenient unless you drive. Very limited parking for that afternoon as there was a golfing event. To reach the restaurant, you also had to walk a long boardwalk to reach it. It's located behind the club building.

Excellent view and ambiance in the afternoon. The natural light coming through the full length glass creates a very relaxed environment. Staff could have been more attentive. Nobody saw us to the door when we left.

Bread was warm and delicious.

This is actually cantaloupe soup. Served chilled, it provided nice relief from the hot weather outside.

Prawn salad with artichoke cream was succulent. I even swiped the artichoke cream with my bread.

The other starter of tagliolini with crab was so so, sauce was too thick for my liking.20121009-EPL1-12

The wagyu beef cheek served for the main course was cooked till very tender, which was good.

The other main of snapper wasn't too bad also, although the presentation on the plate looked quite awkward. The skin was crisp but slightly on the salty side.

Dessert was tiramisu, quite standard stuff.
