Counting Down to 2008

Here's DC and CP wishing you a very Happy New Year ahead!

No movie watching, No shopping, No romantic dinner, No countdown parties in town and no fireworks display this new year's eve. We've decided to keep it really simple this year since DC's has not recovered yet, so it's just the two of us spending the last moments of 2007 together at home, watching the Calsberg show on tv and enjoying our favorite "Toblerone Cake" while counting down.

Why "Toblerone Cake" of all things? Simply because DC has been craving for it for days when he's immobilised at home on MC. I bought it specially for him after my work today for the celebration tonight. On another note, I hope all things turn out well in the year ahead, like a piece of cake! :D

2007 Roundup

This year was definitely another eventful and fruitful year for us, DC especially! :)

One week ago, I wrote about personalising a special X'mas gift for DC. However, I dropped the idea and got him a tie for X'mas in the end.

My initial idea was to make him a calendar -- a calendar that contains our precious moments together in the past year, all pics taken with his camera. I thought it would be a wonderful gift to give esp. at this time of the year, a calendar would definitely come in handy. Little did I know that he has the same idea too! When I was finishing the last bit of design work, he suddenly told me of his "idea" to make himself a calendar. My expression must have given myself away... he somehow knew and guessed correctly that I was preparing a calendar for him.

It actually turned out that we have different ideas for our calendars, anyways...we should be working on it together. :)

We may or may not be using back my designs, nevertheless I thought it would be good to round up the year with the pages that I've designed for the Calendar as they marked the many monthly memorable events that we experienced together. Cheers!

Christmas Party - in the Office

I am appointed photographer ... what a pressure. Well, it does put my camera and flash to good use. Each department decorated their own spaces and it was quite a refreshing change to the whole office.

What went on were food, wine, songs and gift exchanges.

And here's what I got:
