CNY Dinner

It's time for another sumptuous dinner treat by my company. This time it's at Imperial Herbal and Sinchi Tcafe. I only like the sea cucumbers. A whole big plate of it. Nobody seems to be eating much of those. If I'm not moving around taking photos, I bet I will have eaten all of them.

The Dance Floor: Melvin & Sharon

The lady is from DC's company. We missed the programme on TV but luckily we managed to watch it on YouTube. :) Wow! I'm impressed by her energetic dance moves. Is she that hot and sexy during work as well? Hmm..This group sure has the potential to get into the finals...along with Vas & Pris :)

1st Wedding Anniversary

Since it's the 1st year, thought I will pamper my wife. So I book a room back at Oriental Hotel where we watch the fireworks at night.

Lo Hei @ Office

We did a Lo Hei in the office. The lunch was disappointing...I heard from my colleagues last year's lunch they had at Man Fu Yuan restaurant was much better.

This year's lunch was catered and the delivery was late for an hour. The food was so-so only.

There is one surprise item from the organisers though... imagine the sight of two ang-mos dressing themselves in the traditional chinese costume and lion dance costume. The scene is quite entertaining and attracted a lot of camera flashes.

Overall, my rating for this Lo Hei is as follows:
Ambience: 2 stars
Food: 3 stars
Entertainment: 3 stars

Big Intestines vs Small Intestines

We have some issues with "Intestines" over dinner.

We decided to have kway chap for dinner at a KPT and I told him how I love to eat big intestines. But, when the dish came, I saw that he had picked all small intestines! When I asked him whether he had heard me saying that I want big intestines, he replied "I thought you are just joking. Anyway, I prefer small intestines."

Unwilling to go without big intestines today, I want him to order them for me. He went reluctantly but it was very suay that our order was forgotten by the stall owner. :( Arggghhh! In the end, he has to coax me to make do with the small intestines and he did a good job. hehe... read on and you'll know...

He separated the slighly bigger ones from the small ones. Then, he named the bigger ones "小猪的大肠" and the smaller ones "大猪的小肠". The "大猪的小肠" is his and the "小猪的大肠" is mine. Haha... to think that he came up with this idea! He's so cute! :)

I have really grown fat!

Last Friday I went for my haircut. My hairstylist whom I've not seen for 8 months, kept telling me "You look very different, can tell that you are very 幸福!" (He meant I have put on weight) :( Actually, he is not the only one who had said this to me. My sis is one of them. Everytime she sees me, she will remind me. I hate to admit this but I guess it's really time to go exercising after almost 2 years' of rest! Too bad, I'm down with flu now and CNY is around the corner... maybe after the holidays hehehe...

Watched it for the first time. It's an amazing show! Simply love the dance performance put up by the contestants. Our personal favourite is Vas & Pris. The couple may look nerdy but they proved us wrong when they started dancing!
