Collision

We were on the CTE, on our way to our dim sum lunch when we suddenly feel the driver braking to an abrupt stop just in time to prevent himself from crashing into the car in front. Just as I was heaving a sigh of relief, there came a bang at the back as we were rammed by another taxi from behind! Before I realized, we were thrown slightly to the front by the force.

Fortunately we were all unhurt, especially Baby! He was unharmed and protected by me all the while but he could have suffered from confusion (or shock?) from what had happened as he just started at us without his usual babbles and movements while the police were doing his investigation. When he started to act normal minutes after the taxi left off, then I begin to relax...




I wonder who summoned the traffic police. He was there almost immediately! I'm impressed!


It didn't take very long before the taxi driver drove off. He was apologetic and asked us to leave down our contact number and contact him if we are feeling unwell. However, he still charges us the full fare according to the meter and that was inclusive of the cost incurred during the accident! It took us almost $20 to get to our destination, hmmm we wonder if that can be claimable?

What an eventful day!
