We brought A and B down to the next block to attend the session organised by the RC. It was raining and windy. The air was cold!

When we were there, we saw Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister of State for Finance and Transport talking about the LUP and budget. We stayed on for a while before we moved on to view the proposed layout of the new lift shafts, our main purpose of attending the session.
The proposed lift shaft for my block. I'm so glad that no existing lifts would be shut down like other blocks! We don't have to pay for the lift upgrade and don't have to vote. However, we were quite concerned about the amount of air and noise pollution the project would bring to us after knowing that there would be new link bridges and gates to be built just above our unit. It's a hallow space right now and I can look up to 2 units above. Imagine the tremendous work if new bridges were to be buit in the air above! Fortunately, both A and B would not be at home in the day!
We didn't wait for the buffet nor take any popcorn. As we were leaving, we saw a commotion. It seems that a lady has fainted and the people were trying to fan her.
At home, we were dreaming again at the possibility of us buying the recess area along the corridor and converting it into a balcony and study area. The possibility seemed slightly higher as no one would pass by after the lift upgrade since there would be 3 lifts, each serving 2-3 units!
