Hard to find that perfect keyboard

Today, the two newest additions arrived. The Logitech G710+ for home and the Kingston HyperX Alloy for office. Bought from Lazada with a $30 discount using Stanchart credit card.

It's truly hard to find the perfect keyboard. I had many before, must had spent closed to $1K over the years ...

Logitech: S$133.8
Kingtson: S$130

Both used the Cherry MX brown keys. The G710+ had most of the keys silenced already. The SPACE key was not silenced though. I was quite impressed with the Logitech G710+ build. Solid feel although the casing is made of plastic. There was a dedicated key to disable the accidental press of the Windows key during gaming. I also liked the dedicated volume control and mute button. The volume control was a roller type, which I really liked.

No RGB lights for this keyboard, which I didn't care. I only wanted the backlight when I used the keyboard at night, which was more than enough. There is also a USB pass-through on the keyboard. It requires an additional USB connector on the PC.

It's hard to find a good keyboard

I think this one could stay with me for quite a while. The last one was too noisy.

Logitech K360
- On/Off switch
- Wireless - 2 yr battery life
- Near-silent keys
- No NUM lock indicator
- Volume controls
- Weird key layout because of the compact size. Need some getting used to,

I shop with the keyboard and mouse

I like shopping online. It's comfortable and easy. The disadvantages would be maybe the items didn't fit sometimes or damaged during shipping. In any case, I found that my online shopping probably takes up 70% of all the shopping that I do!

Newest buy, I'm a sucker for keyboards ... Looking forward to this new Logitech.

Water-resistant keyboard

Thought it looks quite cool. Washable, which is good because keyboards are probably one of the things that are teeming with bacteria ... Here's the Logitech K310.

Energy Savers - Solar-powered keyboard and marathon mouse

Cool inventions, a Logitech solar-powered wireless keyboard and a mouse that is able to run up to 3 years on one set of batteries. Nice because I don't need to worry about changing batteries now.

The keyboard is really thin and silent. It's the nicest keyboard I have come across so far, even better than my prized Apple keyboard. Price: $129.

Let's face it, Apple mice are real bad for the hands. I only go for Logitech nowadays. The two Logitech MX518 mice I used at home and at work were great, with the "Back" and "Forward" buttons for easy web navigation. However, I wished I could do with less cables around the computer. All wireless mice that I used need a battery change every 2 to 3 months. So it's real cool that Logitech has a mouse now that supposedly last up to 3 yrs!

So comes the M705 mouse. I would have love it to be bigger to fit my palm though. The battery compartment feels a bit flimsy but if it can really last for up to 3 yrs, or even 1 yr on one set of batteries, I would be very satisfied. Price: $79.

The best thing is, both the keyboard and mouse share the same usb receiver. Nice.
