We watched the F1 Grand Prix live ... on TV

An exciting F1 Grand Prix in Singapore. We made sure we watch it live, on TV that's it.

And so we glued our eye to the TV box, with red wine, caviar and cheese. It's a truly exciting race. Fernando Alonso is now leading, after starting at the back of the pack. He adopted an unusual strategy, using less fuel during the start, which makes for a lighter car body. Then he got his break when the safety car came onto the track.

Massa is heartbreaking, after pitting when the safety car is on the track and then speeding off with the fuel hose still attached to the race car! He's now picking up the dust at the back ...

This is the first time we tuned in to F1 Grand Prix. A few things we learnt:

Pit stop when the safety car is on the track - 10 sec penalty
The qualifying rounds determined the driver's starting position. Pole position is coveted by all teams.

So now, back to the race, with 11 laps to go!
