Last day of 2009, we went movie watching. Avatar 3D, the first movie I watched after sooo looong!
Was excited and looking forward for the movie but it wasn't really that exciting actually. The 3D glasses were too huge for me and kept sliding forward and downwards! I felt uncomfy the whole time. Some of the 3D scenes were not really obvious and some of them were quite glaring. :( Many times, I took down the glasses and rather watched it blurred but without restrictions. I guess 2D still works better for me.
The effects of the movie were nice but it was quite boring at the beginning and gets only more interesting towards the end.
As usual, I would put down the story, just in case I would want to refer to it in the future:

More than ten years in the making, Avatar marks Cameron's return to feature directing since helming 1997's Titanic, the highest grossing film of all time and winner of eleven Oscars including Best Picture. WETA Digital, renowned for its work in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and King Kong, will incorporate new intuitive CGI technologies to transform the environments and characters into photorealistic 3D imagery that will transport the audience into the alien world rich with imaginative vistas, creatures and characters.
