For this year's anniversary, we thought we could give Conrad Centennial a try. Booking through the telephone turns up better pricing than my company's corporate rates, $333++ inclusive of breakfast and late check-out at 3 p.m. Not bad at all.
Once again, before checking in, I had tired myself cleaning up the home. It seemed a ritual, to leave the home in a pristine condition and come back still relatively clean.
Baby had a little nap so we checked in at 3 p.m. instead of 2. We had a corner room all the way at the end of the walkway. Quite comfy, nice and spacious. The bed was a bit tall though, even for me. Some of our other gripes were the baby cot was too small, shaving kit and comb had to be requested. On a positive note, DVD player is available, something we found was installed only in Oriental and Ritz Carlton so far. Of cousre, we got the Conrad bear, two in fact.
Complimentary chocolates and fruits.
View wasn't too bad. We can see the Singapore Flyer.
Off we went to Haagen Daz for a little dessert.
Delicious affogato
Baby A had such fun here.
No swimming as the sky was getting overcast. Dinner was at Oscars in the hotel. It was an awesome spread with five varieties of oysters. I only dared to try two, for fear of diarrhoea.
Compare this photo taken that day with the one last year :)
View at night.
First time Baby A slept with us, only for that half hour in the morning.
Breakfast at Oscars. Sumptuous!
Still full of energy ...
A short swim. Baby A was very apprehensive already :)
