Here's Baby tucking in to a cup of yummy Movenpick ice-cream! :)
Baby learnt how to shout and cry for things he want. He seems to know that those are the ways he could get his way!
He walks around the living room with no issue and likes to transport things from one point to another in the living room (usually from the table to the tv console). Very often when he is doing this, he expect no interference from us, only attention. He's all smiles when he shows us where he ported the things to. However, sometimes when we try to hold his hands or carry him to stop him from , he pushes our hands away and squirm away.
Does the above spells the start of the terrible two?
He started his full day childcare sessions three weeks ago and I was with him the whole day for the first 3 days. It's a new experience to him and me too. He actually adapt pretty fast. In about 1.5 week, he knows what to expect in class and no longer cries. I heard from the teachers (I call the school regularly to get updates) that he is interacting well with his mates and more talkative now. :) He likes the food there too and surprisingly, he drinks more milk there than he does at home! The childcare centre that he is attending now is undergoing transition of management and I prefer the new programme better. Hopefully, Baby will like the new teachers who will be there in a month's time.
His apetite for food increases and he could easily finish one bowl of porridge! :)
His new word of the month is "Shoes" which he pronounces as "A-Boo". He's actually very fascinated with shoes and always requests me to bring him to the shoe cabinet. He shows preference over which shoes to wear and would ditate which shoes he wants me to wear! He'll go to extend of opening the shoe cabinet door and fish out the pair he wants!
He likes to view pictures on our digital photo frame and looks at them with interest! He calls "Ah Ma" correctly when I asked him who that was. When he sees the same picture that was on the photo frame on top of the speaker, he moves towards the speaker, looks at me and points at it! :)
Next month he'll be turning 2... We have now started preparations for his 2nd birthday party next month and the theme is the character he knows and likes. Hope he'll enjoy the day and not get cranky or too tired to cut cake!
