An expat left and the car lease was still running. It was put up for grabs at $1000/mth with season parking at Suntec City. Well, since my taxi expenses are coming up to that amount, I decided to grab this great offer.
The car is a Ford Focus. Acceleration is slow, fuel consumption at about 8km/L. Well, I am not complaining. It gets the job done! Also, because of this car, my colleagues and I get to go elsewhere for lunch, rather than at Suntec always :)
Again, because of this car, we manage to bring Aaron and my parents to many places, e.g. Marina Barrage, Macritchie Reservoir, East Coast Park, Bird Park, Underwater World and also 2 hotel stays!
Having a car is definitely more convenient. Now that I am returning it in the next few days, I will surely miss the drive. Well, in another 6 months, our Volkswagen Touran will be arriving!
