No More Bin Bin

It's now the seventh month. I called the town council a week ago in the hope to remove before all the burning started the incense bin that was found directly below the unit we are staying now... however, I was disappointed that the bin reappeared again and again each time it was moved!

Today was the 6th time I called the town council... I just had to try my luck as the incense burning was making me very uncomfortable. Thank God they were opened even on public holiday (Hari Raya Puasa) today!

I made it very clear that I wanted the bin removed totally. If not, move to the next block where I found that there were still room for it. It was totally nonsensical to have 6 bins under my block when the next block only have 3!!! It was also dumb of the mover to shift the bin to the nearest bin and place it side by side to that bin! We wonder who was the one who always move the bin back? The singaporeans that I know of wouldn't do that!

Well, I think it was sheer luck that we ran into the man who was assigned to move the bin at the lift when we were going out. He made the same move again, i.e. right next to the nearest bin, the most convenient location! Great! I told him exactly what I wanted him to do! When we were back, the bin was not found again! I realised later that he had moved it next to the next nearest bin! I certainly hope that the bin would not come back to haunt me again!

I told my kids all about it. B knew already as she saw the burning fire in the bin before she slept last night. I explained to A about it and how the ashes made the home dirty. They heard me call the town council, they saw me talk to the mover. When they saw the man move the bin away and when we were back, they exclaimed, "No more bin bin!". B also learnt and kept saying "Fire hot hot"... :)

[21 Aug 2013: The bin came back yesterday! Arghhh! I had enough of the smoke. It didn't help that I'm having sore throat now! I wish I could hammer a notice to prevent anyone from moving the bin back!]
