HK or JP? Nov, Jan or Mar?

We were thinking hard about where to go for our next getaway and were bothered by the options we have!

Should we:

Go Hong Kong in Nov, then to Osaka in Jan? or
Forget about Hong Kong and go Osaka in Jan? or
Go Hong Kong in Nov, then to Japan in Mar? or
Skip Hong Kong and go Osaka in Jan and other parts of Japan in Mar? or
Go Hong Kong in Nov, Osaka in Jan and Japan in Mar???

Then, there is also a Malaysia trip in the picture! The destination has not been decided but it has been confirmed that the company trip will be in Nov. So, we have to consider this if we are going Hong Kong:

Should we go after the Malaysia trip? or
Should we forgo the Malaysia trip and go Hong Kong on the same week???

We have been discussing for days and still could not reach a decision. Hopefully things will be clearer next week... :)
