Here's my 2-teeth cutie:
My boy is as playful as the previous month but he is also more independent now. More willing to be left alone to play on his own while we do our own things. That is good although it didn't last very long.
Diet wise, I heard that he's been rejecting some of his foods e.g. cereal, cheese and sometimes porridge during weekdays (hmm, weekends seems fine). I'm speculating that he's sick of his same old food... However, when there are things that he likes, he would open his mouth real big and gulped it down. I find that he likes my mum's porridge very much... like mummy. :)
He's definitely drinking more milk and water than before and will not resist if we put the teat/spout in his mouth. Still sleeping good hours both in the day and night. :)
His fine motors improved too.. He can press his toy buttons, had the ability to click on and off the pens and feed himself his puffs easily now. :)
He has rode kiddy car for first and second times and to our surprise, he enjoyed it very much and we thought he would not be ready for it!
Then, he celebrated the mid-autumn festival at the playground downstairs and carried his own lantern for the first time. He also had fun making colorful paper lanterns and playing with the decorative stickers.
We took him for a photo shoot a day just before his 14-month where he cried and laugh lots throughout. We expect good photos this time.
Then, last weekend, we went to the ResortWorld for yet another stay-cation with Baby and he swam for the first time at a big pool (for kids). After that was a mad rush to a friend's son's 1st birthday. It was a tiring weekend without rest.
We tried out 2 enrichment classes for him (he seems to like one and has no interest in the other). I will be trying out more sessions just to be sure. I hate to think about it but, seriously it may be high time to source for his playgroup. I'm afraid I may even be late for it already!
