Thank God for Telecommuting

Another account of my absent-mindedness. I actually forgot to bring along my laptop to work and discovered it only when I got off the bus! And, to think that I thought I forgot to bring my token and I forgot my locker keys just weeks ago!

Of course, I went back to get my laptop but felt it was a waste of time to travel back to office. So, I applied for telecommuting today and it was instantly approved. :) Love this work arrangement that was only recently (Nov or Dec last year) implemented!

Anyway, I felt like a nomad worker since we shifted to the temporary office. I was trained to be so mobile that I could work just anywhere as long as I have a seat and Internet access. So, working anywhere is no difference to me.

I worked from home till lunch and fortunately that day, when I went back, Baby was still sleeping. By the time he woke up at 10:30am, I was already in my study room working. He didn't know I was in the house. When I came out from my room for lunch, his expression was like "Why are you at home at this time?" and his gaze followed me where I went. So cute! However, he started to get clingy to me afterwards... that's when I knew I should escape (if not I can't do work)...

My parents picked me up for lunch and Dad drove us to our favorite duck stall. As usual, there was a long queue but, we needn't queue cos my parents are regular customers. :)

After a full stomach, Dad ran some errands before he sent me to his house. That's where I worked after lunch. Full stop. That's my account on my day spent telecommuting. Love the flexibility to choose to work and I needn't wait till weekend to see my parents! :)
