B is 7 months old

My little princess started crawling on 13 Jul. It was a surprise that about one half weeks later, she stands on her own! All that without even sitting upright at 6 months plus!

It was challenging to keep her still now, as at every opportunity she'll flip herself over and start to crawl. And, she crawls fast! She's quite focused in what she wants, sometimes she'll just crawl straight to her target without even looking at the toy that I offered her to get her back in position! She's also getting more and more difficult to be put in the car seat now and would be impatient to sit for more than 10 minutes!

Starting mid of her sixth month, she woke up a number of times at night instead of her usual sleep-through. There was once where I was too tired from the "night shift" that I brought her to our bed and dozed off. DC turned on the iPad and then went to the bathroom to wash up. I was totally unaware that she was crawling towards the iPad unti I heard a loud thump! This caused her to cry for a whole 10 minutes before she could allow herself to be calmed down. Fortunately, it was not serious. From then on, no more sleeping on our bed! She had a knock on her forehead about a week before the fall when she was just learning how to crawl. We realized that she had hurt the very spot on her brother's birthday party as the bruise surfaced on that very day! It must have been painful then, the bruise was bad! *Guilty*

During her brother's birthday party, she cried whenever the relatives wanted to carry her. Haha, the relatives did manage to carry her after she was fed and was in better mood. I received many comments that she looked like me, including my older cousins who still remembered how I looked when I was her age! :) There were also comments that she was very well-fed. :P

She was still on mostly EBM during the day at her nanny's and we just started her on solids on her seventh month. Started with white rice cereal and contrary to what we expected, she did not welcome the new food as much as we thought she would! Maybe it was the spoon feeding part... hope it would be better the next weekend after the nanny trains her during the weekdays!
