Mini-celebration

What better way to celebrate then back at Tatsuya? This time, we made sure we arrived early because we wanted to try the omakase!

Starter.


Sea bream with urchin


Assorted sashimi. The salmon belly was fantastic. The flowers were minty, dipped in the soy sauce and eaten with the sashimi.


Salmon belly and swordfish belly sushi. Never had swordfish belly before, it was great!


Musk melon. 无与伦比的甜蜜!


Caramel ice-cream. Not overly sweet. Nice!

Anniversary

Time flies and it's been 7 years since we tied the knot. We could have the celebration on the 25th but we did manage to get ourselves a little momento :)

不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥有


The next day, I made up for it and we had a nice lunch at Tatsuya. Finally CP could enjoy all the sushi and sashimi she wanted.

Susi and Sashimi Set. All the fish just arrived that morning from Japan, we were told!




I couldn't resist the uni sushi!


Fruits were fantastic (a bit ex though at $35). The Japanese musk melon was so overwhelmingly sweet and soft!


Overall, it was a very satisfying lunch. I doubt it will be our last outing there :D
