Brunch at Hort Park

Saw a feature on Sunday Times on brunch. I need to get out of the house, same for A as well. Going out provides an outlet for his endless energy! So I picked one from the list on the papers and off we went to Hort Park, whole family and my parents. Just as well, we haven't been to Hort Park since it opened!

It was a cool and cloudy morning so the walk was cooling and suffered none of the heat from a hot sun.

The Vineyard restaurant only opened at 11 a.m. although Sunday Times and its menu stated 9 a.m. on Sundays. None of the indoor seats were available but they were still empty by the time we left. A good thing the sun decided to take leave this morning, else I surely wouldn't enjoy sitting outdoors.

Here's what I have. S17++ for sunny-side up eggs. This only cost less than $2 if I were to do it myself ...

What CP had, which is what I should have ordered ...

Brunch selection is quite limited which consisted mainly eggs. I missed having sausages to go with the eggs ... I also don't find the staff warm or friendly. Our juices weren't freshly squeezed too. Well, I don't think we'll visit again ... Vineyard, I meant.
