A's 2nd school performance

I went to his performance alone this time. DC couldn't afford to take the time off.

This time, there are different themes for different groups: PG - Jungle animals, N1 - Pets, N2 - Pond life and K1/K2 - Trees and Seasons. When I reached, the performance has already started. A is not as clueless as the first time. When he sees me, he only stood there and looked at me. The last time, he told both DC and me to go back to the car! :)

Can you spot him?

After the mini-concert by the children, we had our lunch. I got some bee hoon for him but instead, he's interested in the jellies! You guessed it, he couldn't finish the bee hoon and the jellies were not filling for him! So, I began to stuff him with good food I can find! :P I gave him 2-3 of these cute little cheesecakes and searched for the cheese cubes that we bought there! I hope those were enough for him!

After the lunch, all the children gathered for a gymnastic performance. The school will be providing this as an enrichment and hence, invited the gymnasts to demonstrate. A went forward to try out the obstacle course. He liked it very much! But, what followed made my heart skipped a beat! While the instructor was performing his stunts (he was doing a somersault), A went straight in his course and he could have very likely hit A hard on his head with his feet while flipping!!! We were blessed that he saw A and stopped in time to prevent an accident from happening! Phew! I heaved a sigh of relief and held tight to A, who hadn't any clue of how dangerous his action was and how close he was about to be hit!

After the show, A went back to his normal routine where he showered, drank milk and napped. He refused to let me go. I stayed on until he was asleep since I had the time. He took longer than usual to fall asleep according to the teachers, probably because I was there and he was afraid that I will go off. I did go off when he was sleeping. At night when I saw him again at his grandparent's place, he greeted me with smiles. It was good seeing him smile, I missed him even though it's just a few hours! :)
