Baby A's first concert

We brought Baby to his first concert at NUS Cultural Center today!

I was all excited about it since yesterday! The event was organised by UFamily, an initiative by NTUC to celebrate National Day. This was a very special concert, not one that I heard of, because the target audience was the babies.

Baby slept through the first part of the performance (his usual nap time) and woke up in time for the concert by SCO. Familiar tunes like 早安老师,小毛驴,小星星,Do Re Mi, We are Singapore, Stand Up for Singapore and 家 were orchestrated. Ahh... I missed those days I was with the Chinese Orchestra! :)

Baby had fun with the flag and the clappers that were provided. *Delighted*, I finally got the flag I wanted!

After the concert, there were yummy snacks for the babies as well as the parents.

We collected our goodies bag (Bag was nice and there were good stuffs inside!).

We had our family photo taken at the photography corner. After the photo was taken, one of the official photographers took more photos of Baby (She wants to capture his grinning and cheeky look!). Red T-shirt was free for Babies below 1 year old.

NLB came back and set up a mini-library where the parents could borrow the books too! How thoughtful.

Program Highlights:
09:30am Registration
10:00am Performance by Jazz Kids
10:30am Arrival of Guest-of-Honour, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence

10:45am Birthday Celebration for 10 August Babies
11:00am Concert by Singapore Chinese Orchestra

We were all very tired after the concert and Baby fell sick right after!
