Tiring Night

Baby made Mummy and Daddy very tired these 2 days!

He has a runny nose and could not sleep well...

Last night, although he slept early at 9pm, he woke up at 10pm and fall asleep only at 1am! I was carrying him all the way from 10pm to 1am! Whenever I put him on his bed alseep, he would flip on his stomach and started crying out loud. It must be difficult to get a good sleep with his nose dripping. I guessed he must have been too tired to bother about his nose at 1am that he finally dozed off on his bed.

Then, at 4:15am, he woke up and cried. He went to sleep after I carried and rocked him to sleep but very shortly after, he woke up! When I saw him, he was sitting up crying. (Must be the blocked nose!) I managed to get him to sleep back at 5am. The next time he cried was at 6am. By then, I was really tired. DC went to attend to him. Surprisingly, he had better luck than me. He just had to pat him for not even 5 mins and it was 2 hours later that he woke up.

He slept very little in the day and in the afternoon, he was still having difficulty sleeping in his still runny nose (this time it became worse - both sides blocked!) He slept from 3-4pm and woke up still very sleepy. I had to carry him so that he could sleep in an upright position from 4-5pm. *Back Breaking!* Then, when he was very sound asleep, I let him sleep on his bed from 5-6pm. Not too bad!

By the time he woke up, he was feeling much better but still sneezing with slight cough. Our dear boy was still all smiles even though he was sick... We decide to take him to his PD tomorrow. Hopefully, he'll sleep better tonight!

DC and I were grateful that this was the only time that we had to wake up in the middle of the night (he could sleep through the night) and can't imagine ourselves doing this every night! Now, we can't help but to think: from who and where did he get his flu bug from?!!! Hmm...

[Edited on 16 Aug 2010: Baby was feeling much much better today although he was still sniffing at times. He was sleeping and napping as usual. Thank God! We brought him to his PD and had to wait for 2 hours (walk-in) but anyway, we had to go there to stock up his finishing supplements after that! After that was our routine visit to LV but our dear friend was not there. It was her off day today. Haha, untimely us as usual!]
