IRIS has my eyes locked

Korean drama never fail to amaze me. There was 大长今 and 医道 a few years back. This time round IRIS was simply fantastic. How could I have missed it. I only hopped on halfway and boy, was I hooked! My eyes are practically glued to the TV.

Lots of action, nice leading actresses and actors. Never had such a kick after watching Shiri, Brotherhood and Joint Security Area (JSA) but those were movies. This IRIS drama had me longing for the sequel IRIS 2 and the spin-off Athena.

I never did knew that Lee Byun Hun was so "stylo". It like a total transformation from way back in JSA. I also never did notice much of him as Stormshadow in G.I. Joe. He does look quite the versatile actor. I like his good guy role in IRIS, much like Jason Bourne. He looks equally hateful in G.I Joe. Got to admit K-actors are looking better and better.

On a sadder note, the ending of IRIS sucks totally! I was like cursing and swearing at the end. What the ...!!!

Word has it that Lee Byun Hun declined the role in the sequel due to G.I. Joe commitments. Even then, it's a very lame way of writing him off the show ... Saddening ...
