National Day 2010

I wanted to buy a Singapore flag for Baby but don't know where to get it. According to my mum and colleague, you can get it at the petrol stations and provision shops. Too bad, I didn't have the chance to pass by any of these shops. An idea struck me today and I decided to make one for Baby instead! :)

There are several options. An easy way out was to print out the flag in colour, to draw n colour a flag with coloured pencils or to cut out the singapore flag from the newspapers n then and stick it to the straw but, I have constraints with these methods, so I opt for the method below. Come to think of it, this was Baby's first craft work! :)

The materials - Red and White plastic bags, a straw, paper, scissors and glue.

Work in progress:

Baby busy at work too... :P

The finished product. Not too bad, hehe...

We waved the flag while watching the NDP on tv. I had fun, so did Baby!

Happy National Day! :)
