15th day update:
Baby Aaron cried for milk more frequently now, every 1.5-2 hours compared to 4-5 hours in the first week. After milk, he will have this very satisfied look on his face and gave off a big smile. This is sooo very cute! Unfortunately, we weren't able to capture that with our camera... yet.
He stays alert for a while after each feed and can sometimes respond to us by smiling when we played with him... it's always an achievement to see him smile!
Daddy had started working since Tues and had began bottle-feeding him to relieve the confinement auntie a little and to bond with the baby when he's back from work. I'm surprised he even tried to clean up his poo once, ha!
His bowel movements was more frequent now, he passes at least 1-2 substantial yellow stools each day, no more green stools... this means sufficient intake of milk! :)
He looks more chubby as compared to his first week, another good symbol of growth. :) We no longer cocooned him up in towels, now dressed in little body suits, he looks more like a little baby boy (DC calls him his little buddy!), not so new born now...
His umbilical cord dropped on the 13th day and we were told by the confinement auntie to keep it... for what huh? anywayz, we did as she says.
Realized that his hair is slightly brownish now, not as black as his first week. Hmm, could it be the works of the chemical in the baby shampoo or could he inherit mummy's hair colour?
