Reflections

It's the time of the year again where we take a step back and reflect on the past events that happened in the past 12 months. Looking back, there are good things and bad things that happened but still 2008 was quite a good year for both of us. There was something happening each month! :)

Jan 08
We had a delicious birthday dinner at Angus House.

CP did something silly - cutting her fringe and perming her hair and DC totally hated it.

Our first photo shoot of the year -- fun but bad customer service.




Feb 08
We had a happy CNY and went Sentosa for the awesome Flowers display for the first time.

For a change, for this year's anniversary, we went Fairmont Hotel for a night's stay and we totally enjoyed it.

In this festive month, DC also acted photographer and CP played model. He took lots of photos (free) for CP. Also, not forgetting our great V-day meal! :)

We had a filling dinner on CP's dad's birthday celebration.

CP's first time on the Singapore Flyer and it's free!







Apr 08
Our first time to Japan and to a cold country. When we came back, we were uncontrollably hooked on yummy Japanese food and ice-cream in the months to come!







May 08
Mother Day's celebration was slightly different this year where we went KTV with DC's family and had joint celebration with CP's Aunts but we totally enjoyed ourselves in the family warmth.

There was also one of our yearly Anniversary celebrations...






Jun 08
We celebrated our special day at the beginning of the month - what we'll do every year.

Mother-in-law checked into hospital for operation and for the whole month, we were in and out hospital almost every day.

CP bade bye bye to her company and moved on to... the same office space (ha!).

CP's first time to the Peranakan Musuem (free)

DC and CP went to a Cosfest for the first time.





Aug 08
CP got her first IT bag and subsequently a few more from DC within a span of 4 months! :)

DC's mum recovered from her two-month long illness and that brought DC great relief.

We watched F1 on TV and had the thrill of it.

DC bought CP a wonderful gift and it made her felt she was on cloud nine.

CP prepared her diastrous first hand-made meal for DC.

We celebrated our 10 years of togetherness - our very own Oktoberfest! It was an unforgettable day for us esp the rain that drenched us during our tree top walk.







Nov 08
Well-spent overseas vacation to Seoul and HK.
DC spent his birthday in HK, a memorable one I hope!








Dec 08
DC moved on to a newer and hopefully greener pasture.

We were greeted with a great news two weeks after we were back from our trip. :) (To be revealed soon...)

DC got his very first MAC and was hooked on it.

A rather standard but good time spent gathering with family during x'mas.
